About Force Multiplier Commons

Force Multiplier Commons is the non-partisan arm of Force Multiplier. FM Commons helps you maximize your impact by recommending making strategic investments of time and money in groups that defend democracy, resist authoritarianism, and ensure that people can and do vote.

We are an independent, all-volunteer fundraising organization dedicated to a the vision of a federal government aligned with democratic values and committed to building a just, sustainable, and inclusive society.

We work to:

Defend democracy by supporting groups litigating cases that working to uphold the Constitution and the rule of law.
Fight autocracy by promoting civil resistance in town halls, public protests, and similar mobilizations.
Protect free and fair elections by supporting groups working to ensure ensuring people can and do vote.

We do the research, so you don’t have to.

We identify the preeminent groups fighting to build and defend democracy that have a track record of success and need our support.
We amplify efforts to build participation in forms of pro-democracy civil engagement such as town halls, demonstrations, and other mobilizations.

We give you access to thought leaders:

You can meet leaders of the groups we support through virtual events open to our entire community. Our suggested contribution is $100 but donations of any size are welcome.

We don’t touch a dime of your money

One hundred percent of donations go directly to the organizations we recommend.
Donors choose where to invest among our evolving slates of groups.
We can facilitate tax-advantaged contributions. Email us for details.
